Respite Care

Short Term Respite Care

Respite care provides carers with peace of mind that their loved ones will receive the very best care and hospitality whilst they take a break.

All of our homes offer excellent facilities, with highly skilled, caring and committed teams of care workers, nurses, support staff, specialists and managers who make the difference.

Care and wellbeing packages are tailored for each individuals needs, whether it is an opportunity to relax, refresh and revitalise or to provide a more social, interactive break with a variety of daily activities.

We encourage and support residents to lead as full and active life as they wish, and provide friendly, family caring communities for all.

If you would like to find out more about respite care, or availability at any of our care homes, contact us here or call your nearest home to find out more.

I’ve seen Mum in photos when you have special events or just normal activities, and she always looks happy. Family and friends are sometimes invited on special event days to join in, which is fantastic. Communication has been excellent from updates on health or activities as well as communication from the manager and nurse. Family and friends are always welcome which makes you feel comfortable and confident with the care being delivered. I know my Mum is safe and it takes a huge worry off my shoulders knowing she is happy. Daughter of Resident | Kingfisher Nursing Home

Chestnut Manor has to be the best home we have seen. Everyone is helpful, kind and professional in the extreme and made us so welcome. It has excellent and unobtrusive security, a very pleasant atmosphere and in addition is scrupulously clean. It is such a relief to us that our dear friend is in such excellent capable hands.Friend of Resident

I came here for respite only. After a period of three weeks, I came to the conclusion that I was better off here because I had no falls and my medical care was spot on. I have full support around my care and medication and I’m very happy in how this is provided. I've had no hospital visits since my admission, this is because I receive great care and full support from the staff who are lovely and kind. I love it here; I feel relaxed, I don't have to worry about anything and everyone is down to earth. Management are very helpful and we have activities on a daily basis with lots of choice.Resident
