Residential Care

Residential Care

The idea behind our residential care is to help our residents retain as much independence as possible, yet reduce the risks that come with living alone. The structure of each person’s support is shaped by a care plan, which is reassessed regularly. Our residents enjoy the freedom of planning their day, from breakfast to when they want to go to bed, secure in the knowledge that whenever they want help or need support, it’s right there.

So your loved one can plan their own entertainment, take part in all sorts of group activities organised by our team, and have visitors whenever they choose. We also offer a selection of double suites at our homes.

The best way to find out what life is like as a resident at Westgate is to visit your nearest care home and meet the staff and people who live with us.

As somebody who is very close with her Grandma and values her independence and dignity, knowing she is safe and happy at Byron House is the best I could have hoped for. Byron House and its lovely staff are kind, caring and very attentive to each resident. Thank you for taking such good care of my Grandma in this tough time.
