Nursing Care

What is Nursing Care?

Nursing care is an entirely bespoke level of residential living, involving specialist clinical care allowing people with complex conditions to live safely and feel supported.

One of the key benefits is around-the-clock support, both medically and with daily life tasks, with registered qualified nurses on duty 24 hours a day.

Nurses are trained to monitor complex and advanced conditions, recognising and adapting care plans as required to deliver effective care.

Homes are well equipped with specialist teams, beds and facilities.

Types of Nursing care include:

  • Neurological conditions, such as MND or Multiple Sclerosis
  • Individuals who have suffered strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries
  • Advanced dementia
  • Terminal cancer

Our Nursing Care Service

Westgate Healthcare’s Nursing homes are carefully designed environments, with specialist nursing equipment supporting people living with disabilities, immobility and specific conditions.

Most importantly, our fully trained team of registered nurses qualifications are kept up-to-date to provide the medical expertise necessary for day-to-day care.

Personalised nursing care plans are regularly reviewed to preserve the dignity and independence of our residents.

Closely co-ordinating with  GPs, pharmacists and specialist medical teams, each resident receives the highest standards of care in a welcoming and homely environment.

Nutritional meals are freshly prepared by dedicated catering teams, taking into consideration specific dietary requirements.

There’s no substitute for seeing our care in action and we warmly welcome you to visit your nearest nursing home, meet our care team and residents that live with us.

I have always found all staff very helpful and always willing to help. I had confidence that mum's last year or so would be spent in a safe and caring environment and in her last weeks she received outstanding end of life care- nothing was too much. Also, my brother and myself were attended to in a most considerate way, at a time when it was most required. Daughter of Hampden Hall resident
