Riverdale Beach Party!

Riverdale Care Home hosts Barbados Beach Party!

Riverdale Care Home hosted a glorious Beach Party event on 21st June to celebrate all things Barbados!

Residents and the wonderful team at Riverdale Care Home in Braintree, Essex decorated the stunning Care Home with bunting, beach balls, and brightly coloured Hawaiian flowers!

All residents joined together to listen to some wonderful medleys from the father and daughter duo- The McDonalds’.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the music, dancing, and delicious food, thank you Riverdale for creating such a bright and joyful event!”

Residents gathered together to enjoy delectable cuisine originating from Barbados, including pumpkin soup, Bajan style chicken curry, Bajan fishcakes, macaroni pie, fried plantain, callaloo and delightful sweet currant roll.

Renata Sulugiuc, Home Manager stated ‘’The enthusiasm amongst team members and the entertainment guests during our summer Beach party resonated throughout the home, bringing joyful smiles and happiness to our residents, we are thrilled with the turnout, thank you!’’
