Residents from Ashview Nursing Home visit Van Hage

Under the initiative, specialist activities and wellbeing provider, Oomph! Wellness, residents at Ashview Nursing Home welcome new excursions and activity programme.  

Westgate Healthcare, a family-owned and run care group with more than 20 years’ experience in providing specialist and residential care, has launched a new initiative in partnership with Oomph! to keep residents at Ashview Nursing Home connected to the places and activities that matter the most.

The residents have begun enjoying regular day excursions and new activity programmes to keep them connected to the community, alongside Oomph! who will be providing transportation for the residents as part of the new initiative. 

Last week a group of residents at Ashview Nursing Home visited Van Hage as part of an Oomph! trip where they enjoyed afternoon cream tea and stroll around the petting zoo, whilst enjoying the beautiful flowers in the sunshine.
