Remembrance Day in our homes

Remembrance Day in our homes

Westgate Healthcare teams and residents were inspired to get creative whilst paying their respects to armed forces members who have lost their lives as a mark of respect for Remembrance Day.

Residents paid tribute by attending local church services proudly wearing their hand made poppies, symbolising their commitment to never forgetting the sacrifices made. Our homes also remembered through performances by the D-Day Dollies, observing the 2 minute silence and inviting service members into our homes.

‘It’s important to honour the lives lost in service of the country and thank the Armed Forces of Britain for protecting our country during conflict’.

As our teams reflected on this day of remembrance, our communities came together to honour the heroes who gave their lives for the country. Westgate Healthcare will proudly continue this tradition for years to come.
