Hampden Hall hosts Wild, Wild West themed Summer BBQ!

Residents, family, friends, and team members all joined together in Hampden Hall’s Garden to celebrate summer with a Wild West BBQ twist. The sun shone and the bunting flew as everyone enjoyed quality time together, dancing and singing.

Our amazing catering team prepped and cooked an amazing feast of hot dogs, pulled pork, and burgers, not to mention all the mouth-watering sweet treats such as marshmallow hay bales, ears of popcorn, and spiced banana stars.

Hampden Hall pulled out all the stops and decorated the home in a wild, wild west way, including a saloon, sheriff’s desk, and jailhouse! ‘Most wanted’ posters were placed around the home with pictures of residents and a reward if found! Everyone had fun and sang along to Kenny Rogers and Johnny Cash tunes played by the one and only Lee Rivers on acoustic guitar.

Hampden Hall Care Home Manager, Juliana Mensah said ‘This was a superb event bringing friends and family together, thank you to all who attended, we welcome you anytime’.

Hampden Hall Care Centre aims to deliver fun and engaging activities for all residents to enjoy and celebrating seasonal events like a summer BBQ are all part of this.
