Byron House Care Home hosts a 1960’s Rock and Roll Party!

Blasts from the pasts echoed around the home when Byron House Care Home hosted a rock and roll themed party. Toes were tapping as residents and relatives got together to enjoy good company and share music and retro style party food.

The event was the perfect opportunity for residents to reminisce about their younger years and share memories associated with the 1960’s.

Home Manager Georgie Melo said ‘We had such a fantastic time singing and dancing to some of the residents’ favourite songs, many of which shared some fascinating memories of the era. The party was the perfect opportunity to step back in time with them. The whole event was a real conversation starter and we very much look forward to practicing our jive skills again in the future.’
