Andrei Vosloban: Elevating Care to New Heights as Deputy Home Manager at Riverdale Care Home

Meet Andrei Vosloban, a passionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse with a deep commitment to providing exceptional care to residents at Riverdale Care Home.

Andrei qualified as a Registered General Nurse in Romania in 2017, after completing his qualifications he volunteered in local hospitals, where his genuine dedication to improving personal well-being and kind, compassionate nature shone through.

Moving to the UK in 2018, Andrei worked as a member of the care team whilst waiting for his PIN to arrive.  Recognising his calling, he successfully completed NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care and End of Life Care Level 2, further enhancing his clinical knowledge and expertise. His passion for delivering high-quality care and vision for elevating overall resident experiences, became a valued asset to the team at Riverdale Care Home.

Identifying his exceptional skills, the leadership team at Riverdale Care Home encouraged Andrei to pursue professional development and leadership opportunities. When the Deputy Home Manager position became available, Andrei seized the opportunity to express his interest. He prepared a comprehensive application that highlighted his experiences, accomplishments, and the specific ways in which he had contributed to the success of Riverdale Care Home.

During the interview process, Andrei confidently articulated his understanding of the responsibilities of a Deputy Home Manager. Drawing on his experiences as a Registered Nurse, he shared stories of how he had effectively managed challenging situations, demonstrated leadership during critical incidents, and implemented positive changes within his nursing unit.

Andrei’s dedication, continuous learning, and collaborative spirit resonated with the decision-makers and he was successfully promoted to the position of Deputy Home Manager.
