Homely and tranquil, Burford House is our delightful care and nursing home located in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, and has been providing first-class care to residents for many years. We’ve refurbished this lovely period property to provide 27 bedrooms and three double bedrooms for couples. We provide specialist residential, nursing, respite and palliative care at Burford House, with each resident having their own tailored care plan to keep them in the best health possible.
Our staff team at Burford are expertly trained and, most importantly, compassionate and caring people who love helping our residents live fulfilling and comfortable lives. Bedrooms are well-presented and living spaces are cosy and welcoming.
The outdoor areas at Burford House are truly beautiful. With lush gardens perfect for afternoon strolls in the sunshine, and a well-established pond with exotic Koi Carp, our outdoor area is especially calm and relaxing and a real hit with residents and visitors alike. We also provide a host of activities that residents love to get involved in. From baking and gardening to quizzes and hosting outdoor BBQs on sunny days - there is plenty to choose from!
Our lovely dining room is a space that residents can use to socialise, make friends and enjoy the meals that our talented chefs prepare. Many of the best friendships made at Burford House are usually over a nice evening meal or afternoon tea.
