Supporting Older People Through OPALS
OPALS, which stands for Older Persons Activity, Learning and Safety, hosts community events across Hertfordshire aimed at bringing older residents together. These events provide a friendly and informative space where people can seek advice and learn about available support.
Visitors were able to speak with a range of companies, receive helpful information and safety advice, and enjoy refreshments along with a free hot meal. The welcoming atmosphere encourages people to ask questions, make new connections and discover services that could benefit them or their families.
