At Riverdale Care Home, we are dedicated to supporting our local community, and our Customer Relations Manager, Lynda Inch, has played a key role in building a strong relationship with the Braintree Dementia Drop-In Group.
Lynda attends the group on the first Thursday of every month, offering expert advice and information about the services Riverdale provides. Her presence ensures that individuals affected by dementia, along with their families and caregivers, receive the guidance and support they need to navigate the challenges of living with the condition.
Recognising the vital impact of this group, Riverdale has reinforced its commitment through generous financial support. A regular monthly donation from Westgate Healthcare, alongside funding from the Essex Mason Charitable Trust in Colchester and William of Colchester Masonic Lodge, will help sustain the group’s invaluable work. This funding ensures that the Braintree Dementia Drop-In Group can continue to provide essential services, resources, and a welcoming environment for those in need.
Emma Barfield, Braintree PCN Social Prescriber, expressed her gratitude, saying, “On behalf of the Braintree Dementia Drop-In Group, we would like to extend our sincere thanks for your donation. Your support plays a valuable role in helping us provide a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals living with dementia, their families, and carers.”
Community initiatives like this are central to Riverdale’s mission. By supporting the Braintree Dementia Drop-In Group, we reaffirm our dedication to enhancing the wellbeing of individuals and families affected by dementia.
We are incredibly proud of Lynda’s commitment and the positive impact she has made. We look forward to continuing this partnership and making a difference in the lives of those who rely on this vital service.
