Residents at Chestnut Manor Care Home, recently enjoyed a truly memorable day embarking on their very first outing using the group minibus.
A Special Day Out in Greenwich
The group travelled to the iconic Queen’s House in Greenwich. A renowned cultural landmark celebrated for its stunning architecture and rich royal history. Residents received a warm and welcoming reception, with staff going above and beyond to ensure the visit was comfortable, engaging, and truly special.



Bringing History to Life
Sophie led a guided tour, whose passion and in-depth knowledge brought the history of the Queen’s House vividly to life. From impressive art collections, elegant designs, and fascinating royal connections there was plenty to see.
A Relaxing and Uplifting Experience
Residents were treated to a beautiful live harp recital, offering a perfect moment of relaxation and reflection during the day.
“I had such a wonderful day at the Queen’s House. It was lovely to get out and see something so beautiful, and the music was just magical. I haven’t enjoyed a day out like that in a long time.”
Safe, Comfortable Travel with the New Minibus
A huge thanks to Roy, Westgate Healthcare’s minibus driver, who ensured residents enjoyed a smooth, safe, and comfortable journey throughout.
