Westgate Healthcare Director, Tara Teubner, Shortlisted for an Award

Tara Teubner Shortlisted Finalist Asian Women of Achievement Award 2022 Business Category

We are delighted to announce that our Director, Tara Teubner, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2022 Asian Women of Achievement Awards.

Every year the Asian Women of Achievement Awards (in association with NatWest) celebrate phenomenal Asian women across industries in the UK who make a valuable and important contribution to British life.

This year, the work of Tara Teubner, one of three Directors of our family-run, award-winning care home group is being recognised as she has been selected as a finalist in the ‘Business’ award category.

Nominated by the team at Coutts for her skills in the design of our care homes and the implementation of Westgate Healthcare’s unique Lifestyle Innovation programmes, the ‘Business’ award category aims to recognise Asian businesswomen like Tara who are thriving in small, medium-sized and large organisations.

Nigel Patel, Director of Hotels, Healthcare and Insurance at Coutts, said: “On behalf of Coutts, we have chosen to nominate and support Tara given her passion, drive and skillset to make a difference to the lives and wellbeing of her residents and staff.

“We have worked closely with Tara for a number of years as she has helped shape and grow the family healthcare business, whilst ensuring all residents’ needs are fully met, helping to enrich their lives and cement the group’s reputation as a leading care provider.”

Tara’s career started in investment banking and she joined the family business, Westgate Healthcare, in 2007. Tara is passionate about making a difference to the lives of the residents that come to live within our care homes across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and London. All inspected homes across Westgate Healthcare have been awarded ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings by the Care Quality Commission.

Tara said: “I feel honoured to have been nominated for this prestigious award and am humbled to be a finalist amongst so many talented and deserving nominees. To have the achievements of our care group recognised in this way is very special for our residents and the whole team across the Westgate Healthcare family.”

“Our vision at Westgate Healthcare is to be at the forefront of innovative care and team development. We aim to create a sustainable community along with genuine and professional relationships with residents and relatives, through which we seek to constantly enable independence and personal growth.”

This year’s Asian Women of Achievement Awards will take place on 16 June 2022 at London Hilton on Park Lane.
