Westgate Healthcare Celebrates National Indian Independence Day!
Residents and team members across Westgate Healthcare homes gathered on 15th August to celebrate National Indian Independence Day.
Homes were decorated with brightly coloured flags and bunting and residents had the opportunity to experience some classic Indian traditions and culture. The celebrations were filled with delicious cuisines, Indian music, dancing and beautiful henna artistic talents.
Indian Independence Day is celebrated annually on the 15th August as a public holiday in India commemorating the nation’s independence from the United Kingdom on 15th August 1947.
