United for a Cause: Fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society

As a company, we are passionately dedicated to raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, a cause that is very close to our hearts. This mission resonates deeply with our residents and their families, as many of our beloved residents are affected by this devastating disease.

On Friday, June 28th, members of our head office enthusiastically contributed to our fundraising efforts. Activities included donating £1 to wear blue for the day. Karen, our Accounts Payable Assistant, fully committed to the theme and arrived at work dressed as Smurfette. We also participated in a variety of fun competitions such as “Guess Who the Baby Is,” guessing the number of sweets in a jar, and a raffle. Funds raised from these activities were added to our team’s fundraising page.

Additionally, our star baker and Chief Operating Officer, Deborah Christian, prepared a delicious coffee and walnut cake, with donations collected for each slice enjoyed.

An impressive £383 was raised on this day alone, bringing our total fundraising amount to £1,351!

We are excited to announce another upcoming fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Society. On September 7th, we will taking part in a Memory Walk at Cassiobury Park in Watford, where we aim to raise at least £160.
