Successful Care Home Open Week Welcomes Local Community Across the Group

Westgate Healthcare is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of our annual Care Home Open Week, held from Monday 24th June to Friday 28th June. The week’s programme of events was a significant success, welcoming numerous families, community members, and professionals across the group.

Event Highlights:

  • Burford House Care Home, Chorleywood held a cheese and wine evening, cocktail making session and had an end of week party for all to enjoy.
  • Chestnut Manor Care Home, Wanstead held a popular Arts and Crafts Fair where local community members could purchase a variety of goods whilst enjoying the surroundings and hospitality amongst our residents.
  • St Pauls Care Centre, Hemel Hempstead held a variety of activities including a performance by Dacorum Dance and had a lovely vintage afternoon tea party in the sunshine.
  • Riverdale Care Home, Braintree had a presentation by the local Essex Fire Museum and the Community Police popped in to show their support, amongst activities such as the popular quiz night, Pilates, and a beach party.

The response from local communities was overwhelmingly positive. Families appreciated our transparency and the chance to interact directly with our dedicated team members.
