St Pauls Care Centre Prepare to Celebrate 10th Anniversary

St Pauls Care Centre will be hosting a festival themed party for the local community to celebrate their 10th anniversary on Friday 2nd August.

St Pauls Care Centre, part of the family-owned and run care group Westgate Healthcare, is organising a celebration for residents and their families, and the local community to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

Since the care home first opened, St Pauls has seen more than 1000 residents pass through the doors and join the Westgate Healthcare family. The home has recently undergone a refurbishment, including a new cinema and dining areas that can be enjoyed by the residents and their visitors.

Arrangements for the party have already begun with residents helping to produce festival-themed decorations and the team at St Pauls have been working with local businesses to organise entertainment for the event. The celebrations will be held on the grounds of St Pauls Care Centre on Friday 2nd August from 13:00-17:00 – the event will include a bbq, face painting and festival glitter, music, candy floss and popcorn, fundraising activities, and a performance by the staff choir.

Juliana Mensah, Home Manager at St Pauls Care Centre, said:
“All the staff and residents at St Pauls are very excited to be celebrating this special occasion with the local community. The party will provide us with an opportunity to thank the residents and their families, plus recognise all of our staff that continue to work tirelessly to ensure St Pauls becomes a home to all our residents.”

Tara Teubner, Director at Westgate Healthcare, said:
“We’re extremely excited to welcome the community to join us in celebrating this special occasion and we hope to see lots of familiar faces joining in the festival party. Over the last 10 years the care sector has evolved greatly and this event will give us an opportunity to celebrate our residents, the long-serving team and the community that continue to support our home.”
