St Pauls Care Centre celebrate 10th Anniversary

Celebrating their 10th Anniversary with a festival-theme party, St Pauls Care Centre welcomed relatives, friends and the local community into their home to mark the special occasion on Friday 2nd August. 

With 200 guests joining in on the celebration’s they were treated to an ABBA tribute performance, face painting, tombola, BBQ food, ice cream, popcorn and candy floss – plus a performance by the staff and resident choir. 

Juliana Mensah, Home Manager at St Pauls Care Centre, said: “Today’s party has been organised by the talented staff and residents from across the home and whether that’s been making decorations, blowing up balloons, or making the amazing food – I’ve seen everyone working together to make sure their party was going to be successful. 

“I’m incredibly proud to say I’ve been at St Pauls since the day it opened in 2009. I started as a Unit Manager before coming the Home Manager, and over this period of time we really have become a family. I have a team that I’m very proud of and each and every resident is loved and adored. We look forward to celebrating the next 10 years at St Pauls.”   

Albert Evans, Relative at St Pauls Care Centre, said: “I am sure every relative and guest who was at the 10th anniversary party would wish to join me in thanking every member of management and staff for their supreme effort and dedication in initiating, and organising, the event. There was so much to be enjoyed by young and old alike. 

“The kindness and thoughtfulness of every staff member could not fail to make the occasion a resounding success. My wife and I had a great time and, again, we thank everyone involved.”
