Riverdale Care Home hosts resident Art Exhibition

Riverdale Care Home hosted a very exciting and successful art exhibition involving lots of laughter, fun and reminiscing moments. It was an opportunity for residents to gather together and get their creative juices flowing!

‘Residents really enjoyed expressing themselves through the mode of painting, it had a calming and relaxing impact and some really inspirational pieces were created’ explained home manager, Renata Sulugiuc.

Residents enjoyed cakes and refreshments whilst putting paint to paper and creating designs such as ‘Evening silhouettes’, ‘Spring wreaths’, ‘Summer indoor potted plants’, ‘Window Art’ and ‘Cats galore’. Residents were able to express themselves using colour, shape and pattern.

As part of their regular activities, Riverdale Care Home host a weekly Art session that allows residents to be imaginative and create inspirational work on a regular basis. A fantastic time was had by all and will be the first of many no doubt!
