October is for Observations

Westgate's Group Training Manager, Maria Fagen, visits each of our homes regularly to carry out group training sessions, so we're introducing themes each month that provide important training reminders to the care sector.

October is for Observations 

We carry out Hand Hygiene Observations because washing your hands properly removes dirt, viruses and bacteria to stop them spreading to other people and objects, which can spread illnesses such as food poisoning, flu or diarrhoea.
