Kingfisher Nursing Home crowned winner at the London Great British Care Awards.
We are delighted to announce that Kingfisher, our nursing home in Cheshunt, won the Frontline Leader Award at the London Great British Care Awards finals, which took place last week. The event was hosted at the London Bankside Hilton and saw winners crowned across a range of categories. Our proud finalists included Kingfisher Nursing Home in the ‘Frontline Leader’ category, and Westgate House Care Centre in the ‘Good Nurse’ and ‘Care Home Team’ categories.
Attending the ceremony were the teams from Kingfisher Nursing Home and Westgate House Care Centre, as well as Westgate Healthcare’s Director, Tara, and Chief Operating Officer, Deborah. The ‘Frontline Leader’ Award was given to Kingfisher’s former Home Manager, Mary, who we were sad to see leave Westgate Healthcare earlier this year. Mary was an asset to the team, and during her time at the home, she successfully led the home to achieve a CQC ‘Outstanding’ rating. Mary was delighted to see her former team pick up the award on her behalf on the night. Congratulations Mary, and to everyone at Kingfisher Nursing Home and Westgate House Care Centre.
