Kingfisher Nursing Home join the NIHR Clinical Research Network ENRICH Programme

Kingfisher Nursing Home are proud to support the National Institute for Health and Care Research ENRICH (Enabling Research in Care Homes) scheme, demonstrating their commitment to raising the standards of care in care homes across the country.

Susan Frost, from NIHR Clinical Research Network met the team to explain the scheme and outline potential research projects suitable for Kingfisher Nursing Home, presenting the team with a certificate.  

Fredah Kamau, Home Manager and Registered Mental Health Nurse, says, “We are very proud to be part of the research programme, working alongside our residents and families in order to provide first hand evidence needed to encourage change in practice, raise standards, improve quality of life and wellbeing and assist best practice within the care industry.”

Kingfisher Nursing Home works closely with healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible residential, nursing and respite care, this initiative further demonstrates the commitment to leading and empowering care peers to provide excellence in care.
