Keeping busy

Our residents love to keep busy and many of them like to help out around the homes where they can. We often assign those residents interested in keeping occupied small jobs relevant to their interests and ability, to promote wellbeing and help to add further meaning to the lives of those who may miss the daily routine of going out to work or running a household. These jobs can include sitting at the reception desk and helping to greet visitors, post letters etc. folding laundry, light dusting, helping with laying tables for lunch, writing articles for the newsletter, maintaining the gardens – the list goes on!

Whatever our residents interests and needs are, we always do our very best to accommodate and ensure that their daily lives are just as they wish, be that relaxing or working!
