Hampden Hall Care Centre Prepare to Celebrate 10th Anniversary

Hampden Hall Care Centre will be hosting a Mardi Gras themed party for the local community to celebrate their 10th anniversary on Saturday 1st June.

Hampden Hall Care Centre, part of the family-owned and run care group Westgate Healthcare, is organising a celebration for residents, staff and guests to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of Hampden Hall, in Weston Turville, Aylesbury.

Since the care home first opened, Hampden Hall has seen more than 1000 residents pass through the doors and join the Westgate Healthcare family. The home has recently undergone a refurbishment, including the introduction of themed areas that can be enjoyed by the residents.

Arrangements for the party have already begun with residents decorating their own Mardi Gras masks, and Hampden Hall have been working with local companies to organise entertainment for the event. The celebrations will be held on the grounds of Hampden Hall Care Centre on Saturday 1st June from 14:00-17:00, and will include food stalls, face painting, music, an ice cream van, fundraising activities, and games for everyone to enjoy – as well as attendance from the Alzheimer’s Society.

Gary Lochowitz, Home Manager at Hampden Hall Care Centre, said:
“All the staff and residents at Hampden Hall Care Centre are very excited to be celebrating this special occasion with the local community. The party will provide us with an opportunity to thank the community, the families and friends of our residents, and the staff that continue to work tirelessly to ensure Hampden Hall becomes a home to all our residents.”

Tara Teubner, Director at Westgate Healthcare, said:
“We’re extremely excited to welcome the community to join us in celebrating this special occasion, and we hope to see lots of familiar faces joining in the Mardi Gras party. Over the last 10 years the care sector has evolved greatly, and this event will give us an opportunity to showcase how Hampden Hall Care Centre is leading the way in providing the highest level of care within their newly refurbished facilities.”
