Colleen Joubert Joins as Home Manager of Luxury New Rebuild, Burford House Care Home

Colleen Joubert has joined as Home Manager at Westgate Healthcare’s newest luxury care home, Burford House Care Home, which is set to open its doors in August 2022.

Colleen is a Registered Clinical Nurse with more than 26 years of care sector experience. Having worked as a Turnaround Home Manager for 18 years, Colleen brings a wealth of skills and experience of enhancing the lives of individuals in her care.

Her previous role of Turnaround Home Manager consisted of making sure a home is compliant in the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) inspection framework, which assesses whether a home is safe, effective, caring, responsive to people’s needs, and well-led.

Colleen joins Burford House Care Home with a focus on providing her residents with outstanding experiences and excellent provisions of care, as well as empowering her team to grow, learn and lead in their roles.

Colleen said: “I am delighted to have joined Westgate Healthcare and be leading the launch of the group’s newest luxury care home. Burford House Care Home will be a 46-bed luxury home in the heart of Chorleywood offering high-quality residential, respite, nursing, palliative and dementia care.

“My passion is palliative care and ensuring holistic care is always provided to the highest possible standard. I enjoy problem-solving and ensuring that there is not a day that goes by without laughter.”

The home is currently undergoing a luxury redevelopment and is due to open to residents from August 2022. Colleen has an exciting range of career opportunities available and is calling for people who are kind, caring and dedicated to making a positive difference to apply.
