Christmas Creativity Competition 2018!

We are delighted to announce the results of Westgate Healthcare’s Christmas Creativity Competition 2018! We have received some wonderful entries this year and would like to thank all of our participants for the time and effort spent on these wonderful festive creations.

As always, it was very difficult to choose between the entries but the Head Office Team, along with the help of our Facebook followers have decided on a winner and 2 runner ups:

First place goes to the residents of Kingfisher for their amazing team effort in creating Colonel Fisher the Christmas Nutcracker! He is made completely out of plastic pot planters which have been painted and/or covered in wrapping paper and glued together. Residents have had a wonderful time making him over the past few weeks and he is currently keeping guard over the Christmas tree. Congratulations Kingfisher on a wonderful and unique entry that certainly put a smile on all of our faces!

Second place goes to Westgate House for their excellent Winter Wonderland scene! A wonderful display that definitely inspires that festive feeling! Westgate House had a lot of support on Facebook and this entry was a very popular choice – a close call! Well done Westgate House!

Finally, third place goes to Burford House who worked as a team to create their cosy Christmas grotto. This has been created with the wish tree as a centrepiece and residents really showed their creative sides using corks, plastic cups and rubber gloves to name just a few items! The result is a lovely display for residents and relatives to sit by in the evening. Well done Burford House, very creative!

A big thank you to everyone who took part in the Christmas Creativity Competition this year, it really is a lovely way to bring us all together and get us in to the Christmas spirit!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
