
Chestnut Manor Care Home officially opens with a Bollywood Bang!
Chestnut Manor Care Home marked its official opening last week when Mayor Jyotsna Islam, special guests, members of the local community and residents came to its Bollywood themed Grand Launch last week.
Mayor Islam cut the ribbon with resident, Sister Anastasia, Rosie Monger, the Home Manager and Sanjiv Patel, CEO of Westgate Care Homes. Rosie Monger, Home Manager said, ‘’We were honoured that one of our very special residents, Sister Anastasia cut the white ribbon to officially open the doors’’. Rosie was delighted with the turnout.
Guests were treated to a glass of Champagne for the Bollywood themed event and the aim was to have fun and enjoy all things bright and beautiful! The fun- filled day had a great atmosphere, created by spectacular entertainment from Bollywood dancers, Dhol drummers, and a talented henna artist. Famous celebrity chef The Urban Rajah was also on hand where everyone was able to taste delicious cuisine from a personal menu for this event.
David Murrell whose family member lives in the home said ‘’who would have thought that when we came to Chestnut Manor in January that a care home could be so much fun’’.
Sanjiv Patel, CEO of Westgate Healthcare said “Our grand launch party was a huge success and the perfect way to mark such an exciting milestone for Chestnut Manor”.
