Chelsea Flower Celebrations at Hampden Hall

To mark the opening of the Chelsea Flower Show residents at Hampden Hall had afternoon tea in the garden and planted sunflower seeds for the Hampden Hall Sunflower Competition! Even though it wasn't the sunniest of days we had a lovely time, and it has been a great start to a summer of spending time outside in the garden.

 The sunflower seeds have been potted up and we’ll wait for them to germinate before planting out. Later in the summer we will measure up and see whose sunflower has grown tallest! Watch this space for updates…
