Care Home Open Day 2018

This years Care Home Open Day was a great success with all of our homes taking part and providing a fantastic day for their local communities. The theme of this years event was 'Linking Communities' and that really did take place. We had a wonderful turn out with friends, relatives, neighbours, local police officers and mayors all coming along to join in the fun. The weather was on our side so much of the afternoon was spent outside, making the most of the beautiful sunny day we had.

There were many special events and activities taking place on the day. Many of our homes opted for a Royal theme as the day coincided with the Queen's birthday and enjoyed a sumptuous afternoon tea to mark the event. We had raffles, a spring bulb memorial ceremony, singers, Pearly King and Queen and the opening of a brand new Namaste room at Byron House. We would like to thank everyone for attending and helping to make the day truly memorable!
