Burford House Care Home Celebrates Five Star Food Rating 2022
The luxury Burford House Care Home celebrates successfully obtaining an outstanding five-star food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in October 2022.
Burford House Care Home in Chorleywood is Westgate Healthcare’s newest luxury setting, offering residential, nursing, dementia, respite and palliative care to its residents.
Since opening its doors in September 2022, the care home has begun to showcase its talented Chef, Ovi, who has produced many mouth-watering meals created for his residents and celebratory gatherings in the home.
The food hygiene rating reflects the standard of food hygiene found at Burford House Care Home by the local authority. The Food Standards Agency rates establishments to see if food is safe, correctly labelled and whether there are healthy and sustainable meals available within all premises of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The home’s newest successful rating is a milestone towards Burford House Chef Ovi’s ambitions. Chef Ovi has plans to enhance the dining experience at Burford House Care Home to grow the variety of foods available, diversifying the food options to meet religious and cultural preferences, as well as entering exciting awards showcasing food in care home’s as luxurious and delicious.
