Ashview Family Celebrate Baby Shower
There has been much excitement at Ashview Nursing Home over May as the care home residents and staff group together to celebrate Clinical Lead Nurse, Adina’s new family addition, with a pink-themed baby shower.
As a family, the home’s residents and staff came together to organise the baby shower, holding meetings to solidify presents, food, drinks and decorations. The residents insisted they wanted to compile Adina a ‘Nappy Cake’ gift bundle for the event and kept it as a complete surprise from Adina.
The event was held outside in the garden and was well attended by both residents and staff, accompanied by a clear blue sky and delightful spots of sun. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed light party food prepared by their incredible kitchen team.
Residents coordinated their outfits to represent the gender of the baby, wearing pallets of pink also matching the decorations. Adina had a wonderful surprise as the team called her into the garden to attend her baby shower.
Everyone at Ashview wishes Adina a smooth birth, a healthy bouncing baby girl, and a slow and calm maternity leave.
