Kingfisher nursing home I truly believe you deserve the Care Home of the Year award. My mum has been with you for 4 years you have saved her life on many occasions. If mum was not being so well looked after I know mum would not be with us today.  Mum is treated as an individual and very well respected. She always has her needs met, she loves being with you and is always entertained and staff provide exceptional care.Daughter of Resident at Kingfisher Nursing Home

My mum originally came in for respite whilst my husband and I went on holiday, only for 3 weeks, she loved it from the off and then decided to stay for another week. During that time, she decided for herself that this was the place she needed to be to help her with her poor mobility and personal care. All the staff made her feel so welcome and at home immediately. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support everyone has given her.” Daughter of Kingfisher resident

Since my cousin has resided at Kingfisher Nursing Home some one and a half years ago, things have greatly improved after a rocky few months. After several managers leaving after a short time, we have finally acquired a fantastic manager who has given the home stability and continuity of care, which was needed. Also, staff seem more permanent. The owners have taken on residents/relatives comments regarding updating of decor and furnishings which are gradually being addressed. Cousin of Kingfisher resident

A very nice and friendly atmosphere. The facilities are well managed and the staff extremely friendly and efficient. They really seem to care. My Father lived here for some time around 15 years ago and my Mother has recently moved in. She professes to be very happy and well cared for. Daughter of Kingfisher resident

I write this morning to express my family's gratitude for the way you took care of  our Dad. From the very beginning you and your staff took the time to get to know him. There are too many instances of kindness shown by your staff to mention here but we will remember them for a long time to come and will always be grateful. Son of resident - Kingfisher Nursing Home

I just wanted to say that my heart melted when my sisters and I were sent photos of the coronation celebrations at Kingfisher Nursing Home today.I don't live locally and struggle to visit mum as much as I would like, but receiving photos like today was just awesome and heartwarming.Mum was beaming and her face lit up like a summers day when the staff dressed as King Charles and Queen Consort entered her room.Thank you to everyone involved and for the 24/7 care you provide.I sleep at night knowing mum is cared for and loved by your team.Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.Daughter of Resident.
