Offering award-winning residential, nursing and dementia care, Byron House in Aylesbury prides itself with a family ethos and are welcoming enquiries now. Short term respite placements are available.

Supporting up to 28 residents, the care home is led by an experienced home manager whose dedication and passion resonates throughout the homes team.

Within you will find comfortable en-suite rooms, welcoming living spaces, a conservatory, garden cafe, hair salon and reminiscence areas for focal points of interest.

Offering the highest levels of care alongside a wide range of activities, Byron House supports you in making the right decision for your loved ones to lead a fulfilling and happy life.

LIFE AT BYRON HOUSE

Byron House offers a family home-from-home environment, where residents physical and mental wellbeing is paramount. The care team provide a full comprehensive assessment to tailor a personalised care plan.

In-house chefs, provide nutritious well balanced meals and often include the produce grown in the residents vegetable patch within meal plans. 

As well the extensive activities programme available, Byron House offers a hair salon allows residents to keep up with personal maintenance and indulge in a little pampering.

  • The nearby Aylesbury Waterside Theatre presents a range of West End and touring musicals and plays, along with performances of opera, ballet and Christmas pantomimes
  • Within a short drive, Waddesdon Manor, a french-style chateau with period features, boasts a wonderful day out for those who enjoy horticulture and the National Trust 
  • For train enthusiasts the nearby Buckinghamshire Railway Centre in Quainton provides a demonstration line with various workshop buildings as well as museum buildings with train and railway memorabilia
  • Located near the Chiltern Hills, there is an abundance of natural areas of beauty, intermingled with smaller market picturesque villages such as Wendover, Great Missenden, Haddenham and Thame, Bring and the famous Ivinghoe Beacon

Georgina has a wealth of experience working in a Nursing Home environment and utilises the skills and knowledge she has learnt. She is passionate about care and ensuring high standards are achieved for those living in the home. She is a qualified Nurse with experience in both acute and community settings which has allowed to her holistically plan and deliver care.

The standard of care in this home is exemplary. The staff give 110% at all times. They are patient, caring, understanding, kind and sensitive to my father's needs. The home is welcoming, bright and airy. All newly decorated with attractive and purposeful displays on the walls. Furniture new and clean and environment pleasant without any odours. The staff are without a doubt dedicated, caring and giving, above a good standard. They made a big difference socially to my father, as he was bedbound and would rely on company visiting his room.  I waited over two years to get my dad into Byron House Care Home. It was the only home we visited that both myself and sister could see our dad settling into.
